Ambre’s is close to the small village of Belle Mare.
This area of Mauritius is best known for its gorgeous white sand beaches, lush sugar cane fields and string of luxury resorts.
From the hotel, you can directly access over 700 metres of white sandy beachfront and a naturally protected coral reef. The Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club is less than ten miles away, and you can reach the island’s capital, Port Louis, in around 18 miles. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport sits south of the resort, and the 30-mile drives takes around one hour.
The light and airy rooms are decorated simply with white walls and furnishings, cream tiled floors and colourful fabrics. Most rooms feature a private balcony or terrace with Indian Ocean views, although some rooms have tropical garden views. You can stay in a spacious Superior Room overlooking the garden or ocean, or upgrade to a larger sea-facing Deluxe Room with a private terrace or balcony. therapists are on hand to cater to every demand.
